Cost comparison

See where Vouchio lands against the big providers

Enter roughly how much you store long-term and how much of it you pull each month. We'll line Vouchio's Archive Storage rate up against four other providers, not just one.

1 TB500 TB

Vouchio Your plan

Backblaze B2
$0.00/mo
Azure Blob (Hot)
$0.00/mo
Google Cloud Storage
$0.00/mo
AWS S3 Standard
$0.00/mo
$0.00 / month estimated savings vs. the average of the other four

Estimate only, for planning purposes, not a quote. Vouchio uses the published Archive Storage annual rate ($3.79/TB/month, no retrieval or API fees). Other providers use published on-demand rates for a comparable standard/hot storage tier plus standard internet egress, rounded for illustration: AWS S3 Standard (storage $0.023/GB/month, egress $0.09/GB/month), Google Cloud Storage Standard (storage $0.020/GB/month, egress $0.12/GB/month), Azure Blob Hot tier (storage $0.018/GB/month, egress $0.087/GB/month), and Backblaze B2 (storage $0.006/GB/month, download $0.01/GB/month). None of these include separate PUT/GET or API request charges, free-tier egress allowances, or volume discounts, which would change the picture at scale. Rates change regularly; confirm current pricing directly with each provider before making a decision. 1 TB is treated as 1,000 GB here for simplicity.

FAQ

Common questions

Getting started
How do I get set up?

Fill out the questionnaire, and a specialist follows up with a tailored plan. Once you agree, we help connect your existing backup software or walk you through moving files in directly.

What happens after I submit the questionnaire?

A specialist reviews your answers and follows up, typically within one business day, with a tailored plan, pricing, and next steps.

How do I reach a human?

Email support@vouchio.net for existing-customer support, or fill out the questionnaire if you're not a customer yet; it goes straight to a specialist, not a queue.

Can I test a recovery before committing to a plan?

Yes. Mention it in your questionnaire and a specialist can walk you through what a recovery drill looks like on a sample of your own data before you sign anything.

Pricing & billing
Why isn't there a self-serve checkout?

Storage and recovery needs vary a lot business to business: volume, retrieval patterns, and how fast you need to be back up. A short questionnaire lets us quote you accurately instead of guessing with a generic self-serve tier.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

Active Storage and Archive Storage have no minimum term. Recovery Ready is a 1-year term in exchange for its flat, predictable rate, which we'll walk through during your quote.

How much could I actually save by switching to Vouchio?

It depends on how much you store, how much you retrieve each month, and which provider you're switching from. Use the cost comparison above to see Vouchio lined up against AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob, and Backblaze B2 based on your own numbers.

Do you offer discounts for multi-year commitments?

Recovery Ready's annual rate already reflects our best standard pricing. For multi-year or larger-volume commitments, add a note in the questionnaire and a specialist can quote custom terms.

Disaster recovery
What's the difference between Active Storage and Recovery Ready?

Active Storage is a place to keep files you use regularly. Recovery Ready adds continuous offsite replication, tested recovery drills, and a real restore plan; it's built specifically for business continuity, not day-to-day file access.

How often are recovery drills run?

Quarterly by default on Recovery Ready, on a schedule you agree to. We restore a real slice of your data into a scratch environment and confirm it's intact, then send you a short report.

What connection protocols do you support for replication?

Most accounts connect over a standard HTTPS / S3-compatible endpoint. For continuous replication traffic, Recovery Ready also supports site-to-site VPN, GRE tunnel, IPsec, and direct/cross-connect for businesses that need it. Tell us your preference in the questionnaire, or see the connection options guide.

Security
Is my data protected against ransomware?

Version history is included on every plan, so you can roll back to a clean copy from before an attack. See the ransomware recovery guide.

What is Retention Lock?

An optional immutability hold on Archive Storage: once set, a retention period can't be shortened or deleted by anyone, including Vouchio, before it expires. Useful for records you're legally required to retain.

Do you support compliance-driven retention policies?

Retention Lock and access logging on Archive Storage are built to support internal retention and audit requirements. We don't publish specific third-party certifications on this site; tell us your requirement in the questionnaire and we'll confirm what's supported for your account. See the compliance guide.

Integrations & migration
Can you help migrate data from my current provider?

Yes. Tell us your current provider in the questionnaire and we'll plan a parallel-run migration so nothing goes down mid-move. See the migration guide.

What backup software does Vouchio work with?

Anything that supports a generic S3-compatible or cloud storage destination, which covers most mainstream backup and NAS software. See the backup setup guide.
